My Priorities

Four priorities for stronger schools.

Troy J. Evanovich is running for Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees, Place 6 — bringing disciplined leadership, classroom perspective, and careful stewardship of every dollar.

1

Strengthen academics

Strong instruction, measurable progress, and preparation for college, careers, military service, and life. Students should leave RRISD with strong foundational skills and real options for what comes next.

2

Support & retain great teachers

Competitive compensation, practical classroom support, and disciplined budgeting that prioritizes the people doing the work so RRISD can keep the educators our students depend on.

3

Keep schools safe

Students and teachers should be able to focus on learning in schools that are secure, orderly, prepared, and supportive. Safety requires attention to physical security, consistent expectations, and effective campus response.

4

Fiscal responsibility & transparency

Every dollar should have a purpose, results should be measurable, and taxpayers should understand where the money goes. Strong financial stewardship helps protect the resources that reach students and classrooms.

Two principles behind every decision

Parents are partners.

Parents are essential partners in their children's education and deserve clear, accessible information about district decisions.

Students come first.

Board decisions should ultimately be measured by whether they strengthen classrooms, improve student outcomes, and prepare students for what comes next.

My commitment

Every board decision should strengthen the classroom for students and teachers.

If a policy doesn't hold up to that test, it doesn't hold up. If you have ideas, concerns, or a story from your own child's school, I want to hear it.
